My Background

I am a Masters level qualified coach and mentor; possessing the ILM Level 7 Executive and Senior Leaders Coaching and Mentoring Certificate through the British School of Coaching.

My professional background is in the NHS; I have held various roles across a twenty year career which included the fields of Integration, Transformation, Strategic Development, Quality (Improvement and Assurance), Primary Care, Engagement and Research.

I have significant senior leadership experience; operating at this level for over twelve years, including six years as a Director. I am also a graduate of the NHS Leadership Academy Nye Bevan Programme; obtaining the Award in Executive Healthcare Leadership in 2017.

I have been coaching informally throughout my NHS career, supporting individuals across all levels of the management and clinical structure.

My Approach

I use a solutions focused coaching approach, drawing on a broad range of proven tools and models. I offer pragmatism, empathy and supportive challenge to clients. My sharp and incisive thinking, balanced with natural warmth and good sense of humour enables me to quickly build strong rapport and gain a deep understanding of each clients' unique context.

I am adept at putting clients at ease; creating a safe and empowering space in which they are supported to analyse issues, create clarity and generate effective solutions and actions.
